Dakar: rhythm, history & inspiration
Dakar is alive. You’ll hear the rhythms of djembés on the streets, smell the fresh fish at the harbor, and see colorful fabrics dancing in the wind. We’ll explore the medina, visit Gorée Island – a historical place that leaves a deep impression – and feel the energy of a city that never sleeps.
Dakar is also known as the creative capital of West Africa. From modern art galleries to vibrant street art, from fashion shows to music festivals – the city overflows with talent and expression. Here you’ll witness how tradition and innovation go hand in hand, and you’ll feel the power of creativity in all its forms.

One of the most impressive places we’ll visit in Dakar is the African Renaissance Monument. At 52 meters, it’s the tallest statue in Africa and a true icon. It depicts a man, a woman, and a child pointing towards the horizon – a powerful symbol of Africa’s rebirth and its future.
From the steps you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over the city and the ocean. For our retreat, this monument represents exactly what we will experience together: rebirth, strength, and the courage to look ahead. It’s not just something to see, but something to deeply feel.
Saly: sun, sea & relaxation
After Dakar’s vibrant energy, we’ll spend a few days in Saly. Long sandy beaches, cozy lodges, and the perfect atmosphere to recharge. The sea invites you for a refreshing swim or a boat trip, and in the evenings we enjoy delightful dinners in an intimate setting.
In Saly there’s space to go deeper into your personal journey. We guide you with meditations, rituals, and inspiring group sessions – but there’s also plenty of time to relax, walk, or share a meaningful conversation at sunset.
